The initial charge to use a cab 鈥� from $2.75 to $3.
Also, the price per mile has increased a few cents from $2.10 to $2.16.
Plus, a new fee has been added for taxis that have聽to be taken out of service for cleaning.聽In that case, the passenger responsible for making the mess will be charged $25.
The last taxicab fare hike in Arlington County was in 2012.
