Dante Verme joined the 91欧美激情 Traffic Center in December 2025.
A Washington D.C. native, Dante comes to 91欧美激情 with over a decade of experience as
a sports broadcaster for various universities in the region, including George Washington
University, Mount St. Mary鈥檚 University, UMBC, Gettysburg College and Johns Hopkins
University.
Dante has been the voice behind multiple high-profile events, from the 2025 USA
Hockey National Championship, the 2025 MAAC Women鈥檚 Lacrosse Tournamenta and
the 2025 NCAA Women鈥檚 Basketball Tournament to the 2023 America East Volleyball
Tournament among other major NCAA events. His play-by-play calls have been
featured on ESPN鈥檚 鈥淭op 10 Plays of the Day鈥, even taking home the number one spot.
Dubbed the 鈥淏roadcast Guru鈥 by The Mount St. Mary鈥檚 Athletic Staff for his versatility on
air, outside the broadcast booth Dante has emceed the 2025 Emmit Awards for Mount
St. Mary鈥檚 Athletics and has handled Public Address Announcing duties for the
Frederick Keys, the High A MiLB Affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles.
A graduate of Robert Morris University in Moon Township, Pennsylvania, with a degree
in Applied Journalism and a minor in Sport Management. Dante was a part of a
decorated student media team during his time in Moon Township. He received the
Communicator Award of Distinction for Anchoring the 2014 US Gubernatorial Election
Coverage for the state of Pennsylvania, the 2014 Academy of Interactive & Visual Arts
Sliver Award Distinction for Anchoring Colonial Sports Center and the first place award
for On-Line Broadcasting Excellence from the Society of Collegiate Journalists for RMU
Radio.
He now lives in Montgomery County with his wife Mandy and their cat Louis. When he鈥檚
not in the 91欧美激情 Traffic Center, you can usually find him at a sporting event or enjoying
live music at one of the multiple concert venues in the DC area. (Spoiler alert: Dante鈥檚
favorite is the 9:30 Club.)
