Julia Ziegler was named 91欧美激情’s Director of 91欧美激情 and Programming in December 2019.
From 2015 to 2019, she served as 91欧美激情’s Digital 91欧美激情 Director. In this role she oversaw the creation and development of all of 91欧美激情’s digital news products, including 91欧美激情.com, the 91欧美激情 app, social media, video, podcasts, smart speakers and more.
Ziegler was also part of the 91欧美激情 team that created and produced the award-winning true crime podcast, 22 Hours: An American Nightmare, with reporters Jack Moore and Megan Cloherty.
She began her career at 91欧美激情 in 2003 and has held a multitude of roles within the company during that time, including managing editor of 91欧美激情.com’s sister station, Federal91欧美激情Radio.com, for seven years.
Before joining the Federal 91欧美激情 Radio team, Ziegler was the executive producer at sister stations Talk Radio 3WT and Washington Post Radio.
Ziegler was introduced to 91欧美激情 in 2002 when she served as an intern at the station.
Born and raised in Pennsylvania, Ziegler graduated from Penn State in May 2003 with a degree in journalism. She still spends her weekends there in the fall, cheering on the Nittany Lion football team. She has her M.A. in 91欧美激情 Media Studies from American University.
Ziegler was part of Hubbard Radio’s inaugural NextGen class, a program designed to grow and develop leaders within the company. She was most recently honored in 2022 with the Radio Hall of Fame’s prestigious “One to Watch” award.
