WASHINGTON – Cinema has lost a legend.
Actor Christopher Lee has died at age 93.
Lee is best known聽as the villain Saruman in the聽“Lord of the Rings” films.
He also played Count Dooku in the “Star Wars” prequels.
Film buffs will also remember him as Dracula and Frankenstein in聽a series of horror films produced by聽British聽studio聽Hammer Films from the 1950s to the 1970s.
After that, he memorably played the villain聽Francisco Scaramanga in the James Bond film “The Man with the Golden Gun”聽(1974).
Lee was 93.
