WASHINGTON 鈥� Three people were injured Thursday morning in a multi 鈥� vehicle crash that shut down a stretch of U.S. 1 near Fort Belvoir, Virginia.
Fairfax County police say the wreck involved a head-on collision near the Fairfax County Parkway. The crash was reported about 9:20 a.m.
Both the northbound and southbound lanes of Route 1 were shut down for more than an hour. All lanes had reopened to traffic by 11 a.m.
