WASHINGTON 鈥 More than 57,000 members in D.C. and Arlington, Virginia will notice changes in their commutes on Sept. 12.
The car-sharing company 鈥 which operates a fleet of 800 cars in the D.C. area, the largest in the U.S. 鈥 has a new car that promises a faster, smoother ride.
鈥淚t鈥檚 a night-and-day difference,鈥 general manager Aaron Landry told 91欧美激情.
The new vehicles聽unlock in about five seconds and are bluetooth compatible, allowing drivers to listen to music and make hands-free calls from their smartphones.
The cars also have seat warmers, an improved turning radius and are wider than the older models.
Car2go will continue to upgrade its fleet with the new car through the end of the year. Drivers can find the new cars by looking for the “fortwo new” label on the car2go app.聽
