Organizers of the Nitro Circus say one of the highlights this year is a record-breaking stunt, which includes a 75-foot backflip through a 35-foot wall of fire.
The Nitro Circus 2.0 Tour, an extreme sports extravaganza, will be held Sunday in Annapolis, Maryland, at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium.
The event is creating a little competition for the Grand Prix, with both events competing for thrill-seekers this weekend.
Annapolis native Travis Pastrana, who helped start the Nitro Circus shows,聽is excited to bring his passion to his hometown.
鈥淚f you’re a fan of action sports and you’re from anywhere around here, and you want to see the best in the world trying stuff that’s never been done, this is where you want to be,” he said.
You can expect to see an international audience this weekend at the show.
“One of the girls here, that’s 16 from the U.K., is the youngest girl ever to do a backflip on a dirt bike, and she’s going to be doing her first-ever Nitro Circus show here at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium,” he said.
