WASHINGTON — Due to underground equipment failure,several hundred聽聽Pepco customers in Silver Spring, Maryland were without electricity Sunday afternoon.
The outage was reported at around 1:30 p.m.聽near Colesville Road and Georgia Avenue. 聽At its height, 聽about 900 customers were in the dark.
As of 5 p.m., about 430 customers were still without power.
Pepco says crews were onsite. Full restoration is聽expected at around 5:30 p.m.
