Montgomery Co. 911, non-emergency lines functional; busy signal may appear

WASHINGTON — 911 and non-emergency lines in Montgomery County are functional after they were down Monday morning, but residents needing emergency assistance are still reminded to contact their nearest or  if they hear a busy signal.

Earlier Monday morning, the county’s 911 center said that they could not receive any calls,

Pete Piringer with the Montgomery County Fire Department told 91Å·ÃÀ¼¤Çé that an internal communications error caused the system to go down at around 11:30 p.m. Sunday.
