Watch: 4 from Montgomery Co. arrested in gun protest at House Speaker Ryan’s office

WASHINGTON — Four students from Montgomery County were arrested Friday afternoon after they protested in support of gun control in front of Speaker Paul Ryan’s congressional office door.

The students are part of the group MoCo Students for Gun Control, which held a “lie-in” in the hallway in front of Ryan’s office.

In a video posted to social media, officers of the Capitol Police ask the students to leave, and warn them they will be arrested.

The Capitol Police told 91Å·ÃÀ¼¤Çé that part of the group did in fact leave the hallway, but four remained.

They were charged with misdemeanors.
