Virginia-based Albritton Communications owns ABC7 and 91欧美激情 Channel 8 in D.C.
Allbritton says he now plans to use his resources to increase his commitment to Politico and invest in companies that follow the Politico model of targeted media coverage.
The company currently serves roughly 5 percent of all U.S. viewers.
