The Marietta, Georgia-based company said it had profit of 81 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were $1.15 per share.
The building products distributor posted revenue of $814.1 million in the period.
BlueLinx shares have risen roughly 5% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Tuesday, shares hit $64.46, a decline of roughly 10% in the last 12 months.
