The New Hartford, New York-based company said it had a loss of 41 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 18 cents per share.
The software provider for the hospitality industry posted revenue of $133.4 million in the period.
For the current quarter ending in September, PAR Technology said it expects revenue in the range of $128 million to $132 million.
The company expects full-year revenue in the range of $516 million to $523 million.
