On a per-share basis, the Bellevue, Washington-based company said it had net income of 14 cents.
The results matched Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was also for earnings of 14 cents per share.
The retailer of second-hand merchandise posted revenue of $448.2 million in the period, which missed Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $450.1 million.
Savers Value expects full-year earnings in the range of 47 cents to 53 cents per share, with revenue in the range of $1.77 billion to $1.79 billion.
