Jeff Bezos has a lot of money, more than $111 billion at current count.
And according to a new report, the Amazon.com Inc. CEO and founder is open to using some of his fortune to buy his way into one of the world鈥檚 most exclusive clubs: NFL ownership.
Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reported Sunday that Bezos has an interest in buying an NFL team and has strong support from within the league. Bezos has also spent considerable time with current franchise owners, including Washington NFL team owner Dan Snyder, according to the report.
The report does not quote anyone directly, citing only 鈥渓eague sources.鈥�

Bezos purchased The Washington Post in 2013, and Amazon is currently standing up its second headquarters in Arlington County. He鈥檚 also in the process of renovating the former Textile Museum in Kalorama into his new residence 鈥� a process that has hit some construction 鈥�
