Pet of the Week: Dandy Bubbles

WASHINGTON — If you’re looking for an adorable little lap dog, look no further than Dandy Bubbles.

This 6-year-old Dachshund/Chihuahua mix is as sweet as can be. She’s probably led a sheltered life and is therefore a bit overwhelmed by new environments and timid with new people. But just give her a few minutes and talk sweetly to her and she’ll raise her paw to solicit petting and cuddles. She’ll even give delicate little kisses.

Dandy Bubbles, who currently resides at the Washington Animal Rescue League, is looking for a quiet adult home with someone who will give her the love and attention she deserves; she might even enjoy a gentle, laid-back canine companion.

About WARL: Founded in 1914, the Washington Animal Rescue League is the oldest animal shelter in Washington D.C. Its mission includes rescuing, rehabilitating and finding homes for animals who have no where else to go. The League also supports animals through affordable veterinary care, community outreach and education. Learn more about the Washington Animal Rescue League at .
