WASHINGTON 鈥 A Metro train operator has been suspended after a train collision in a rail yard on Tuesday morning.
Metro spokesman Richard Jordan said the train was moving at a 鈥渓ow speed鈥 in the Branch Avenue Rail Yard when it made 鈥渕inor contact鈥 with another rail car. Jordan said there was no damage.
A red signal violation was not involved in the incident, Metro said. But an investigation into the collision continues.
