PHOTOS: 2023 Met Gala honors the legacy of Karl Lagerfeld

It’s fashion; it’s avant-garde; it’s actor Jared Leto wearing a cat costume. It’s the 2023 Met Gala! Celebrities and fashionistas displayed their flair Monday night in New York to honor the work of legendary designer Karl Lagerfeld.

Lagerfeld, who died in 2019, famously left millions to his pampered cat, Choupette. Many stars, including Leto and singer Doja Cat, took inspiration from the fluffy feline.
